UPCOMING EVENTS:
Souper Bowl Sunday 2/5 - Patriots VS. Giants. According to the congregation at Grace, the Patriots won! $146.01 to $99.96. All proceeds to support the Elburn Food Pantry.
Spaghetti Supper 2/25 - All money raised from Spaghetti Supper will be split between all youth workers for their GUS account. There are sign up sheets posted at church where you can sign up to help out that night or bring items for dinner. Any questions??? Ask Mrs. Verner or Mrs. Stanley.
Lock-In 03/10-03/11 - All youth are invited to a fun fill night at church. Sign up in the youth room or by contacting Camille!
Chili Bingo 3/17 - Chili with a St. Patty's day twist?!?! You can sign up to bring Chili, desserts, etc or help at the event. Any questions, contact Kim & Steve Stime. See you there!
Easter Breakfast 4/8 – If you are available, please help with set up on the 7th or the breakfast on the 8th. The more workers the better!!
30-Hour Famine 4/27 & 4/28 – Camille will have information about this available in the youth room in February. We need to have everyone signed up by March 1st so that we can start planning and you can start getting donations!
We are also looking into an ice skating and/or roller skating days. Any other ideas/suggestions, please email lilylakeyouth@gmail.com.

Summer of 2012:
The ELCA National Youth Gathering is July 18th – 22nd in New Orleans. Registration opens on October 9th and will remain open until all the spots are filled. The registration cost is $315 but there will be additional costs for transportation and housing.
Leadership Lab will be July 30th – August 4th at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. The cost is approximately $325.
Confirmation-by-the-Lake will begin on June 17th. The cost is $400. There are 9 confirmands who will be attending this camp at Carthage College.
If you are going to attend any or all or these programs next summer, our youth group will need to raise some serious money. If you have any fundraising ideas please share them with the group.
